Whatleydude gets sexed up

I ran into James Whatley, the mastermind behind SpinVox’ corporate blog at SMS Text News bash hosted by Ewan MacLeod on Tuesday evening. James has been working with the MTV Staying Alive Foundation to produce a site: Stand By What You Say. This allows people in a number of European countries to talk about taboo subjects, currently its about safe sex. Areas like why it is embaressing to purchase condoms in a shop, despite living in a laissez-faire society.

James talks about it in more depth here.

Good headline! Thought I was going to get to laugh at James, but he’s doing good, well done

From a technology perspective this site like so many others is powered by WordPress and supercharged with caffiene. It looks minimalist, yet aesthetically pleasing thanks to a slightly tweaked version of DePo Skinny Theme designed by the talented Mr Powazek. The site is hosted on a grid service by the clever people at Media Temple (mt).
