The fifth installment of the horror movie series Saw uses a classic grindhouse promotion tactic the banned poster. A depiction of the film that by implication is so graphic it cant be seen in public, but can be easily accessed from the film website.

But for the web address this could be the 1950s, it would be interesting to see how this tactic played out for the film marketers and whether they have been rewarded with box office success.
