Strangely appropriate

Reading Time: < 1 minute

I was awoken this morning by a report on the BBC World Service which discussed consumer opinions around who deserved help and who was to blame. Banks, unsurpringly came out of this badly. When I got to London City Airport I noticed a clock sponsored by Barclay’s Capital that overlooks the main terminal lobby.

Barclay Capital handless clock

The clock has no hands. This image in the world of prison tattoos means a life sentence, as time has stopped for that wearer. Coincidence, or was someone trying to make a statement?
