Media train wreck

Desperate times calll for desperate measures, which explains why Rupert Murdoch has decided to fight the internet and bring in a pay wall across the News Corp empire. The company has already written down 3 billion USD against its purchase of the Wall Street Journal and the other media properties that make up the group are having a similarly difficult time according to this Michael Wolff-penned profile of Murdoch in Vanity Fair.
