I reported problems with my line to BT on the night of March 1, when I got in from work. I received an SMS text saying that the fault was likely to be addressed on March 2, 2011 (ie a year’s time). Surely some mistake as the world’s greatest living Scot Sean Connery would have said.
So a few days later I checked BT’s online fault system and sure enough it was due to be repaired next year. At the moment I am listening to the soothing sounds of Elgar whilst the India-based call-centre operators try and find out what’s happening. Things may be slow around here until it’s fixed.
