Pepsi Max branding

There is no greater example for showing how badly the most recent Pepsi rebrand was thought through than looking at the way Pepsi Max now looks.

New Pepsi Max branding

The rebrand did originally have a vision that would have been cohesively rolled out on the sub-brand as well.

But it didn’t say ‘Max’, in fact it said minimal. What’s worse is that its anonymous. It doesn’t say cola, it could just as easily say credit card or courier company. Sometimes if something isn’t broke don’t try to fix it.

Part of the art of being a trusted advisor to clients is saying no.
