K-Foundation – F*ck the millenium (live at The Barbican 1997)

Sweary factor ten you have been warned. It was 1997, the clubbing culture that evolved from house music had a become big international business – with private equity firms eventually buying into both Cream and the Ministry of Sound. The Liverpool dockers and their two-year industrial dispute had become a cause celeb with the fashionable left. Someone designed the dockers supporters Calvin Klein referencing strike t-shirts, these were an excellent piece of culture-jamming. The K-Foundation gig at The Barbican summed up the time well with this track.
