Techometr.com is a free service that reminded me of a chimera of Apollo Research and Techmeme focused on US reporting of gadgets updated on a daily basis. It’s a handy way of getting a feel for the gadget mojo happening online. The site was created by Retrevo who provide product reviews, shopping for US audiences and what I think is their killer app: downloadable product manuals.

From a technology perspective this site is powered by WordPress and supercharged with caffiene. It looks minimalist, yet aesthetically pleasing thanks to a slightly tweaked version of DePo Skinny Theme designed by the talented Mr Powazek.
