Great stuff here from Iain Tait, despite coming across as a stream of consciousness it is one of the smartest coherent presentations that I’ve heard this year. It touches on some of the areas that some of the ‘in person’ conversations with other people on like Jed Hallam and Mark Pinsent.

The idea of the creative tension between software and storytelling is something that I found very interesting. On one hand I was surprised that by implication people may not think that software wouldn’t be suitable for broadcast media or real-world performance experience. I was concerned the iterative approach described could be used as an excuse for poor quality creativity that can be fixed at a later date.
