If Monocle wrote about comic book stores…

They would probably talk about Gosh London, who curate a fantastic mix of trade paperbacks, independent titles and vintage children’s books. (They are the people that got me reacquainted with Miroslav Sasek’s This is… series of books).

Their careful curation of beautiful objects is a cultural bulwark against he digitising philistines. As long as I can remember they have been opposite the British Museum, but recently moved to the seedy end of Berwick Street in Soho.  Their moving flyer showed the same taste and distinction that their stock has.

Designed by illustrator Luke Pearson, it was a lovely piece of graphic art in its own right.
