Oprah Time: Nexus: Small Worlds and the New Science of Networks by Mark Buchanan

I was interested by Mark Buchanan’s work Nexus because of the understanding that it promised for networks. Buchanan does a good job at simplifying scientific theory in a similar style to James Gleick at the start of the book and it certainly provides food for thought. However, the book could be a third shorter if the editors had cut out the Malcolm Gladwell-esque detours which add no value to the books central premise. I’d advise you to save your money and move on.
