I have a huge soft spot for spaghetti westerns having grown up with the Leone dollars trilogy, Duccio Tessari’s Ringo films, Antonio Margheriti’s Vengeance and Sergio Corbucci’s Django. In Liverpool, the Baa Bar used to open up to do post-clubbing breakfasts with Spanish omelettes and screen films like this.

Quentin Tarantino has done his own take on Django series, but it was good to see the original Django – Italian star Franco Nero make a cameo appearance in the trailer.
