Five things that made my day this week:
#iworkinpr – probably the best tumblr account. Ever.
BMW announced it’s i3 Coupe concept this week. It was buzzword compliant with plug-in technology; but the most interesting thing for me about it was the way in which the car shows the current range that could be travelled as part of its in-car instrumentation.
Panasonic’s fightback against the BYOD (bring your own device) trend kicked off with a white paper on ‘Secret Saboteurs’; based on research indicating that a substantial amount of workers would like to kill their laptop. Panasonic thinks that rather than give workers something they might enjoy using; inflict them with a ToughBook instead. You can get their white paper on the phenomenon here. It is the IT equivalent of reducing employee absence by nailing their feet to the office floor.
A Golden Light Underneath My Car is a short film for Carhartt | Work In Progress shot in Bari and Naples in Italy.
The mix of modernist architecture and dystopian landscapes makes this visually impressive. Well worth four minutes of your time.
McCann Worldwides mobile personality profile was a simple idea well executed.
