NASA‘s Jet Propulsion Lab released a collection of future space tourism destinations with a retro futuristic vibe to them. In that way it harks back to the golden age of utopian science fiction. It contrasts sharply with the general public’s lack of interest in space exploration. Well a public lack of interest – beyond seeing Elon Musk on his journey to achieve the same things that the NASA Mercury programme achieved 60 years ago. Yay!
NASA’s inspiration of interest in at least some people is probably it single most important mission at the moment. And if future space tourism is the vehicle to do item go for it.
