Design: MoMA provides playful Korean design classics

The New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) store is always a source of inspiration, having worked with brands like Muji for a long time. Their latest collection of merchandise from Korean designers: Destination Seoul  carries on the theme of playful design and takes it to a new level.

From Jaewon Yang‘s Sponge Sandwich to tote bags made from recycled street banners, the designs are efficient, effective and enjoyable which is as much as you can ask from a product designer. It is obvious from this collection that Seoul is going to be deserving of its status as World Design Capital in 2010.
