I like: delicious new save and share window

Delicious is one of them products which was created pretty much perfect in its first incarnation and they have been very careful in the way that they have tweaked it over time.

new delicious save page

Now they have made it even easier to share content than ever by allowing you to save a bookmark and share it via email in an elegant manner. I am less fussed by the Twitter integration due to the high volume of retweets already, that is more of human (social engineering) issue than the way it has been put in.

  1. Delicious is great, but there are two things that annoy me about the service
    1) Once you click to bookmark a page, you cannot toggle between the window with the content and the pop-up box. Why is this so annoying? Because many times I want to cut & paste a section of the original article into the “Notes” box…this gets annoying.
    2) You can only use one word tags, so if you wanted to tag “social search”, you cannot…it would be two separate tags: social / search as opposed to the a two-token idea…unless you do socialsearch.

My Web used to be able to let you do #1, and still lets you do #2. Those are my gripes…maybe I just haven’t figured out how to do this yet.
