I went to the Royal Academy Summer Show, the highlights of the works on display was David Mach’s postcard montages. Wondering around Piccadilly I came across Napket. My curiosity was piqued the mix of kitsch traditional and modern interior design.
Previously The Wolesley restaurant was the place in London for weekend brunch. When I went in with a friend and found a worthy value-orientated rival in Napket. First of all they do breakfasts all-day at the weekend which is an instant winner over The Wolesley. Second: the food is pretty darn good. I tried a perfectly good French toast and crispy bacon and my guest had a perfectly cooked omlette.
Service was fast and efficient. So basically you get The Wolesley-type experience without booking, with more convenient timing and a price bracket that is more Wagamama than Yauatcha. What’s not to like?
