Wilson Miner’s presentation seems to be about his (yet to be completed) journey to get the level of understanding for digital products that the likes of Dieter Rams had already developed for analogue | real-world product design.
Miner throws lots of interesting ideas out there and this feels like the kind of idea that others will build on. A lot of his presentation is based around the work of Canadian academic Marshall McLuhan to try and understand the interplay between how we affect digital ‘tools’ and how they affect us in turn.
