Things that made my day this week:
Interesting take on naval architecture from Cesar Harada. It could be interesting for wave derived alternative power projects.
The big challenges would include:
- Materials due to the mechanical movement which would require very different properties to normal hull designs
- Efficient use of capacity on board the ship given this shape-changing design
- Marine insurance: as this design will alter risk profiles

Apple’s WWDC keynote showed some interesting directions and features to both iOS 7 and OSX Mavericks. Apple’s core technology review document for Mavericks makes for interesting reading (if you are that way inclined).
Adobe had partnered with Forrester Research to come up with a whitepaper highlighting ways of improving digital experience (reg wall).
