I was mesmerised by the Shinkansen cleaning crew in this video

Having taken a lot of inter-city train journeys in the UK, the standard and quality of work done by the Shinkansen cleaning crew blew me away. Instead we have Pendolino trains with dodgy wi-fi and toilets that stink up the whole carriage.

Softbank have this great concept video to show how their Pepper robot fits into social scenarios. It is super smart, but I am surprised that Pepper has the market to itself at the moment.

The subversive Fight Club for Kids (with Chuck Palahniuk)

The name Turbo Kid puts this film firmly in the 1980s. This was when the revolutionary Saab 99 Turbo and 900 Turbo were sophisticated, products had a turbo boost function and Unilever even made Turbo aftershave. Turbo Kid is a curious mix of 80s b-movie graphic motives, BMX bikes and a Mad Max-like dystropian future backdrop, what’s not to like? More culture related content here.

BBH blew me away with these mock PSAs to highlight food poverty in the US. My favourite being on done from the perspective of a Chinese NGO dealing with poverty in America
