Ged Carroll – work history
I started off my agency career in communications. I have worked with agencies, helping them develop successful new business pitches.
Marketing has changed during my career and over time I have worked on omni-channel brand marketing. I’ve done this for a number of brands including:
- Bordeaux Wine marketing board (CIVB)
- Huawei (consumer devices and business-to-business product ranges)
- Mandarin Oriental
- New Balance (football)
- Procter & Gamble (SK-II)
- Sandoz (OTC cough and cold remedies)
- Sony (PlayStation and Mobile at different times)
- The National Lottery
- Unilever (Dove and Family Brands)
I’ve done this work in the UK and Hong Kong. I focused on how brands present themselves through different channels from television adverts, cinema adverts, QR codes on trams, events, websites, Chinese and western social media networks.
As part of this process I developed teams and talent to do the work. These team members have gone on to hold senior roles at Edelman, Golin, Landor, Uber and MSLGroup. Together we won work from start-up and well known brands.
