InMobi was founded in 2007 under the name mKhoj by Naveen Tewari, Mohit Saxena, Amit Gupta and Abhay Singhal.InMobi started off in SMS-based search engine and in 2008 refocused on mobile advertising and rebranded as InMobi. InMobi is backed by Soft Bank and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. InMobi one of India’s first unicorn companies. InMobi provides advertising services via over 30,000 app developers.
